This street style poster was created for a contest in The Sick Muse magazine calling for art that addressed mass media.
Mighty hijacks the aesthetic of commercial media, while critiquing the use of anonymous women in these communications and advertisements. The social commentary is laid out subtly. The copy addresses the wage gap that women, particularly Black women, still face despite a rise in visibility in the media and advertisements. Pay Us. The end.
